I enjoyed Nikki Deloach and Michael Rady together. There were some little things in the story that weren't cliche like so many Hallmark Movies. For instance, they didn't have a big fight over "that's my dog", "no, that's my dog". And when the kids plot together to invite Eric to the screening, they get caught right up front. Little things.
Kate and Eric are both very likeable and so are the kids and the dog.
One thing was missing and that was a real conflict leading to a real climax. The conflict was lame and it didn't even seem like Kate believed it. So not only was the climax obvious, it wasn't even that much of a climax.
Still, I enjoyed it.
