Good direction and production values, a solid cast, including attractive, charismatic star Allison Lange, and a script just a little too stilted to ensure the viewer is clueless as to the identity of the perp (everyone is sinister here), ensure the viewer is in suspense throughout. Most of the scare tactics are rethreads from other films in this saturated area but there is a nice new one derived from the killer's raison d'etre. The creative staff is given additional credit for keeping the nudity and gore scarce, not trying to use either to inflate the film's draw. A good, solid thriller that is more reminiscent of the sixties than today.
