I'm so glad that someone found this broadcast and put it on Shudder. It was a nice trip down memory lane. I remember watching it on TV back in 1987 and thinking it was a hoax for ratings. I'm still not entirely convinced that it wasn't. Come on, the evangelical Christians were the bad guys the whole time? Can we get any more cliché? Still, it was nice to see all these old commercials again. I don't remember the strip club one though. Maybe I grew up in the wrong area? The commercials were fun and the broadcast itself was pretty superb, but that ending was so cheesy that it was pretty obvious this was made in the 80s.
