The fact that Big Country did the soundtrack for this drew me to it initially, but I found it a funny, moving and uplifting film and is great family viewing. The advert for Japanese motorcycles is a great highlight.
I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I think this was the winner of a "Write your own film script" competition run by Barry Normans film review programme on the BBC.
Please bring it out on DVD, I for one would buy it immediately.
