Saw the movie last nite for the first time. AMC unfortunately has too many interruptions but I think we have another near "High Noon". My initial thoughts are that Joan Collins was hot. Curly Joe was great even without Moe. There's no way the town sheriff (banker from Beverly Hillbillies) could have survived that knifing. The movie is too sympathetic for the four lowlifes notwithstanding the film's denouement. Henry Desilva was interesting but it's his wife that packs a punch. Anybody think that Clint Eastwood made about five movies based on this flick? Andrew Duggan needed a shot of something to liven him up otherwise how can he minister folks?
Bottom line is I look forward to seeing it again. PS Gene Evans was murdered and his wife tortured in Nevada Smith as father and mother of Max Sands a/k/a Nevada Smith.
