This Norwegian movie was better than many Hollywood fantasy films. Very well written, with great cinematography and decent special effects. I found it on par with Stardust. There were just so many elements to the story - the world was rich with mythical creatures. It felt like a Disney film. I watched it alongside my 9 year-old and we both enjoyed it immensely. I was hesitant to give it a chance due to it being dubbed in English, but it ended up making no real difference for me. Better than having to read subtitles. Try it out for a family night.
