I was skeptical about Queen Latifa doing fight scenes

Maybe if like Sammo Hung she would've done martial arts her entire life she could sell it, but she can't. To solve that problem, they make the action scenes blurry and unwatchable. That was one of the great things about the movies, it's not here.

The other great thing about the movies was that McCall was a loner but for the TV show they needed that support group around her, which is just the same as all the other CBS shows. Including the amazing hacker who can magically, and unrealistically, hack anything in minutes.

Maybe it's closer to the original TV shows, I've never watched that, but it just doesn't work.
It's just another standard CBS show, which should be cancelled within a few weeks but probably won't because it's CBS
