Truly dark and tense with a satanic theme. What does pervade is a real sense of unstoppable evil. There were few parts that were sexually charged in a semi-way, providing nudity and even a lesbo scene, and it got overly graphic when it came to the gross scenes, whew! The gore is high. So yes it does provide some disturbing, raw and perverse images that have the force to stun. It's terrifyingly unpleasant, gross and malevolent. Now onto the make-up. Well much of the blood could have been a little thinner and some of the make up could have been more realistic, but there were some pretty interesting side effects. The gore was pretty consistent, that's for sure. All my aunt's dinner almost came up in couple of unexpected scenes, so make sure you're not eating unless you've got a pretty strong stomach for this type of stuff. The conclusion had us squeezing real tight with tension and it definitely didn't fizzle out without a bang. The Devil's Tomb is the type of movie that gets better as the film rolls along. Cuba gave a good performance as with everyone else. Obviously there was profound talent involved, they put fine acting into this low-budget production and it all came together fairly well to be highly regarded by those who've seen it. I for one agree. Definitely recommended for shock purpose and a little entertainment for the evening.
