If you compare this with Inuyasha, it lacked a lot from the original series.
The humor was gone.
Inuyasha was a half demon that could fend for himself and protect others at the same time while the big and strong Sesshomaru's (not one but two) daughters always needed the whole team to take anything down, the battles were not as interesting as the previous series either.
In Inuyasha everyone had different kinds of abilities, genders, and so on while in Yashahime there were three teenage girls struggling with different kinds of Wind Scar abilities that also made it less interesting.
For me Inuyasha was a 10 while this was "yeah, it's still fun and I really liked the idea of watching a sequel to one of the best anime I've ever seen.
