Mildly Interesting But Forced -- and Another Sad Waste of Food

Another in Food Network's orgy of food-wasting "game shows." Will someone please tell Duff to stop hamming it up so much. He's like a party clown that tries too hard and smells like sweat. And how is Valerie Bertinelli a judge of any food competition? I get that she is a likable celebrity, and her own show is decent if not distinct. But she's no trained chef. Still, she's better than the pretentious Carla Hall or the annoyingly hyperbolic Zac Young. The experience of this show seems traumatizing for some of the kids. Do they really learn anything here but how horrible and manipulative reality shows and TV editors are?
