Delightful but a little too self-absorbed

Great as slow television. I like Mortimer. I like Whitehouse. And I like fishing. So this is delightful. However...for comedians who made their careers by accurately skewering the foibles, eccentricities and obsessions of others, jokes about their own mortality - and there are many - feel leaden and laboured.
