This is an "entertainment" show with the word survival in the title. This guy may have an impressive background, but that's where the impressive ends. Survivorman Les Stroud was alone actually filming and surviving on his own while he filmed all of his own shows. So if you like the fact that Bear jumps and rappels off of waterfalls, it may be entertaining but it's stupid to do while surviving and Les is totally aware of that ok? He told you what you needed to do to survive. There is really no comparison because he never even slept in a base camp. And I get it, it's funny to watch celebrities eat crazy things. But if that's what you like, say that. But he's not teaching you survival. And it's a slap in the face to actual survivalists.
