I saw the pilot just yesterday and I didn't have a good impression. Too many things happen, the whole story is weak and it seems a collage. OK, the pilot should give an idea about what happens next but in this case the information was too much and now I feel I can tell how the story evolves without even watch the rest. The actresses are very beautiful but the cast in general seem too young for their parts. I had the sensation I was watching some teenagers playing "pilots and hostesses". Last but not least, the first episode failed to recreate the atmosphere of those years. In this regard, Pan Am seems to be very far from Mad Men which, on the contrary, is able to capture you and make you feel like you are living the 60's.
