Great show but some goofs?

Great writing. Good suspense. The writers keep you guessing. But there were two obvious goofs. Gus' brother repeatedly was mentioned as having been a Marine and they flashed his photo multiple times in his blue dress Marine uniform. But Gus says his brother went to West Point which is exclusively Army He would have gone to the Naval Academy at Annapolis if he were a Marine and went to an Academy. Also there were F16s flying back to The USS Bartlett (likely a tongue in cheek reference to the President in The West Wing). But a controller mentions "that's an Air Force parachute!" Air Fir e fighters would not land on a Navy aircraft carrier. The pilots aren't trained to do so and their jets don't have the necessary tail hooks. Plus the Navy has some of the best aircraft and pilots in the world, so why would they even need Air Force jets? But a great show that pulls you right in with an intriguing, complex plot.
