This series is so truly appalling as to be worth watching, if only as an object lesson in how not to make a drama. The underlying story has real potential but it is undermined from the off by a desperate script and woeful production. Add into the mix some gaping holes in the plotline and you have a real mess. The icing on the cake is the background music which surges endlessly - hardly a scene happens without it - and you have a show not even the usually excellent Archie Panjabi can save.
