I've watched The View for most of my adult life when my schedule permitted and am sorry to say that with all of the recent "over talking" and bickering I no longer find it enjoyable to watch. For years I've felt that the show had become too political but kept watching anyway because I enjoyed the banter with the co hosts... so much for that. At least I respected Elizabeth, she was a straight shooter who always admitted when she was wrong and never backed down when she was right whereas McCain gets especially petulant on Whoopi's off day. The disagreements have an extremely adolescent air to them that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I used to feel the show empowered women and now I just feel it's like watching Mean Girls over and over. I watch four hours of nonconsecutive television everyday so really, thank you for an hour of my life back everyday.
