So much has been made about this show but few seem to get it right. For those that gave it 1 & 2 stars, it's a bit cruel. Those that gave it an 8, 9 & 10 clearly crawled out of a cave and have never seen a television program. The truth is, I gave it a 4 as it was slightly below average. The fact that they only made 7 episodes pretty much says it all.
The acting is good but it suffers from terrible writing. Women are marginalized beyond words and are portrayed as weak, stupid, horny, and unable to complete any mission.
There are so many opportunities for the story to be explained but the writers consistently lack the skills to bring it together. Often compared to BTVS...not even close. Buffy had a purpose, so such storyline even comes close with The Fades.
Finally, Paul's best friend is the most annoying character of any show. The actor is good but the dialog he was given to absolutely awful and just keep hoping they will end his storyline. Same for Paul's sister and poorly written mother's role.
