I have never really watched any hallmark shows so have nothing to compare this too. The show is set in such a beautiful location. The story line is good and not to cheesy which is nice. The characters play their parts brilliantly and the show is easy watch but unfolds fast enough you don't get bored. The show is about a large family, all of whom are successful in their very varied careers, they have had a rough time of it in the past and their lives seem to have had some recent changes. These changes help the family come together and enjoy each others company and help each other out in their times of need.
I hope they keep the series going and don't just drop it later, there is nothing more annoying than getting into a new show to only find they have dropped it later.
I watch the show with all my family and they all enjoy it although my husband hates it, he can't watch shows like this they don't have enough happening to entertain him.
The characters all have areas that can really develop and old relationships that need repairing. On the whole this show is a feel good show that makes for easy watching and the setting is just gorgeous, it makes me want to pack up and move.
