Nickelodeon found numerous ways to incorporate prejudice undertones throughout an otherwise decent show. Character Tammy Gilroy, actress Mohana Krishnan, of Indian descent, usage of the term "slang" her words spouts "teen speak" when she's activated in season 2 episode 3..i can dig it..booyah!..offthehizee..turnt. Once Tammy is deactivated and confronted by her cohorts for the usual phrases, Tammy responds such language is for inferior minds. Later Ms.Hough, a white school's administrator shows her complete uncomfortableness with two black teens awaiting in her office. After white students show up to give the new additions a tour, Ms. Hough exclaims, "Oh Thank Heavens!" as if she'd been freed form bondange.
