Be grateful if someone could give a quick glance at my current upgrade build etc and give their opinion

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Gen3 12 Core AM4 CPU/Processor with Wraith Prism RGB Cooler
Gigabyte AORUS 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD/Solid State Drive

RAM I'm hoping I can carry over from my current build for now (though I still haven't checked it ). Not planning on buying it all in one go, but its the plan over the next few months (buy min now add rest later). The Aorus ssd excites me the most as I currently use an Intel 750 ssd.

Took a good look at it all and can't fault any of it. You could probably get it cheaper by shopping around but as you said earlier you have the protection you need by buying it all from Scan, who are one of the best suppliers out there and at £1600  you would want to be sure of the service.

Though you might want to look at the PSU as your not sure what you will be putting into your build in future, such as GPU's, and at 750 W, though it is top of the range, might be considered a little under powered. But this is just a thought though something you need to get right at the outset. Scan have quite a few

1kW Plus ATX Power Supplies for Extreme PC Builds - 1000w 1200w 1300w 1500w 1600w Watt Wired/Hybrid/Modular PC Gaming ATX PSU/Power Supply Gaming | SCAN UK

Can't get excited about SSD's but have a few M.2's now, Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 1TB M.2, bought from Scan and they are top notch.

You would expect prices to come down over a few months but the state we are in with brexit, who knows!

Let us know how you get on.

Brexit that will still be going on for the next 20 years which ever side your on

Thanks I’ll increase the power supply size, with the budget I’m looking at, spending an extra 50 or so makes little difference at this stage, but would really annoy me later on

What GPU are you using ? also i doubt you will tell any difference with the Aorus SSD over any other NVMe drive.

Let's hope it doesn't mean 20 years of price rises and Tax hikes

Seasonic make good PSU's and I've have had numerous versions over the years all without any failures whatsoever. They come with 12 years warranty nowadays vs 10 years on the Corsair products.

There'd be nothing wrong with this one £179.99

Seasonic PRIME 1300 Watt Fully Modular 80  GOLD PSU/Power Supply

or this though £209.99

Seasonic PRIME Ultra 1300 Watt Full Modular 80  Platinum PSU/Power Supply

Aorus 1080ti, in regards the ssd I was thinking for when I play/load late games in the likes of hearts of iron, civilization etc as they do take forever to load, or when it came to ripping blu-rays etc.

That said it was the last thing on my list as it’s not exactly a necessity at this stage

If your running Windows Defender you might want to look at that as there have been issues with it slowing the load process due to it maxing out 100% of a cpu core, which occurred after a particular W10 update. Try turning it off for a single loading and see if it loads any faster.

An extra £200 to load a game 0.25 seconds quicker?
I would not personally bother. Just get a standard M2 drive. I debated about M2, but they can generate some heat so decided against it.
