I agree with Bl4ckGryph0n save that you could well have issues with apps etc causing problems and slowing down your Macbook. If your not sure on how to go about cleaning it up yourself then use a utility like CleanMyMac X, not sure if you can get it for free these days and search for alternatives available.

In any event doing a reinstall as suggested will no doubt improve the performance, somewhat, of a sluggish machine. Mac centers are seemingly only interested if your product is under warranty. |
