I went to a very large restrauant in Beijing where 'Peking' Duck was the speciality. As guest of honour, I was offered the head, which was unceremoniously cleaved in two right in front of me. Nice.
Other interesting foods were discs of jellied ducks blood, looked like the inside of a Jaffa cake, but tasted like a nose bleed - and heavily spiced slices of dog in a very watery soup.
