This show makes me very happy, not only through it's light-hearted moments and bright colour scheme but also because it's deeper than it's aesthetics. The character relationships feel real, and they managed to reboot a dated story without it feeling painfully cliché too. Also, some other reviews have commented on the show's apparent "campness," which I agree with... And I love. Perhaps it just resonates with me personally very well, but ultimately it does nothing to harm the story and makes the character relationships feel so genuine to boot.
