In black & white but still very stylish, this early Bava mystery laid the foundation for his groundbreaking thriller BLOOD AND BLACK LACE. Horror and mystery combine in this shadowy mystery of hallucination and a killer who murders alphabetically. See the original Italian version which includes references to pot cigarettes and a great title pop song. Supposedly this was meant to be a light romantic mystery that Bava transformed into something much more dark and mysterious. Bravo!
