I am totally amazed by this! How in the world did this movie get an 8 average on IMDb? This movie is so bad it made me blush. It's actually more cliché than Gigli, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. The story seems to be written by an 8 year old. Just listen to this: Andy Garcia plays a really powerful gangster called Fingers. He got his name from cutting peoples fingers off. Fingers has a luxurious office located in a crappy warehouse, and there he spends his time listening to music on his Bang & Olufsen stereo system. It is like watching a sketch on Saturday Night Live and it's actually really funny too, but it is not meant to be funny. This movie is dead serious. Every time you think the movie just can't get any more stupid, something happens and a new low- water mark is set. I actually put together a small test which could be helpful if you're thinking about watching this movie.
1. Do you think Ben Affleck and J-Lo are cool in Gigli?
2. Do you think Vince Vaughn is funny and not annoying in the movie Be Cool?
3. Do you think Al Pacino played a lot of interesting and different kinds of characters the last years? For example in Two for the money, Gigli, the Recruit, Any given Sunday, the insider and Devils advocate?
4. Do you hope for another Oceans 11 sequel?
If you get a majority of positive answers you might actually like The Air I Breathe because of its realism, beauty, originality and cleverness.
