This was a great series. Wonderfully unique and refreshing, with complex and memorable characters. Nigel Bennet as "LaCroix" was absolutely extraordinary! Nick Knight, the title character, gives us a deep and conflicted portrayal of a vampire in love with life, desperate to regain what he believes he lost with his mortality, but not yet ready to die. Notable episodes include the pilot episodes, "Ashes to Ashes", featuring LaCroix's mortal daughter/vampiric mother, and "Last Knight", the end of the series (a bit disappointing due to its clip/flashback format, but with powerful storytelling and compelling visual images, I can't get the image of the very last scene out of my head).
