I can honestly say that I was looking forward to this show. I can appreciate the production value of this show as the visual style and the set pieces are fairly nice and their incorporation with the CGI is exactly what one might expect from a Netflix docuseries. I have to also admit that I was a little dissapointed that this series did not feature the notorious pirate Sir Francis Drake, one of the most accomplished pirates in history. All in all, this show would be a wonderful introduction into the world and works of piracy. But if you wish to hear some of the most nefarious deeds committed by pirates, I would highly recommend reading up on Sir Francis Drake.
