When I was living in Paris (France), I saw this movie once a year for 15 years. You get everything packed: comedy, musical, dance, slapstick, romance, all tied together by the most logical absurdity and the purest nonsense. The worst nonsense being from the studios for not releasing a copy on DVD, because I'd like very much to watch it again at least once a year during (at least) the next 15 years. Please, don't let Madacy ruin it.
