Painful to watch, think first draft

This you must know about this film or else it makes no sense. This was an early screen play by Allen that was shelved decades ago. It has not been updated in any real way, and its like watching woody Allen film his first draft from decades ago before he really got into the groove of writing. It should have stayed on that shelf. The "feel" of a woody Allen film is there, but the wit is not. Its all very half baked, and the characters esp Rachel woods characters are malformed in ways that are embarrassing to watch.

Only watch if you must see anything woody Allen. Otherwise its embarrassing to see how many people jumped onto this project without really reading the script.
