I never tire of it

I've watched this movie several times, and it never gets old to me. My wife won't watch it because of the barbarian cruelty the natives show to the evil Europeans in the beginning, but I think they deserve it because they were hunting elephants for sport. The entertaining part of the movie is the ingenuity of the naked runner as he survives the chase. He is running for his life, but he's still good-natured about it. He stops to help other natives even though he endangers himself by doing it. He befriends a young boy who saves him and teaches him to sing "Old Brown Jug." There is probably no other movie with "Naked" in the title that is as wholesome and heartwarming as this fine film. I would let my children watch it, even the little ones.
