I LOVED the show and the lead characters' chemistry, their doomed romance and HATED that ABC dropped it just when the story line was climaxing for the season. I LOVED how Henry started loosening-up under Eliza's tutelage just and she was softening her very rough (read 'slutty') edges. Eventually, Henry realized that he loved her, but not before he hurt her feelings with that stupid "peer" proper romance that he felt he MUST have, if he was to have one at all! The secondary story lines involving the elevation of her station in the vitamin company, the smart black woman sister-friend and the idiotic boss and his simple family were crazy backdrops to their budding romance and undoubtedly helped to cement their friendship. My fave show was the last one aired on ABC, where Eliza sang Sia's CHANDELIER--A CAPELLA!!!! Girl's got major pipes!! GO GILLIAN!!! I really enjoyed the comedy sans laugh track. I felt it was an intelligent comedy. I'd heard that another network was picking it up, but saw no more about that. Great job Emily Kapnek , cast and crew! You hit one out of the park with this one! I look forward to more shows from all of them and Ms. Kapnek in the not too-distant future!
