I can totally believe that people are comparing this drama with Luther or Father Ted!!!
Why, you ask?
Because they don't make people like they used to. Credibility, reasoning, making a smattering of sense, all that stuff we used to learn, stuff that separates the juvenile from the adult? No longer a thing.
People today, verbal vomit is alls we need to clear the bar and qualify as thinking, as able-minded enough to have an 'opinion' and share it.
We have the societal version of MTV Unplugged. Except it's not called that. It's called Braying Unfiltered.
Question: Which came first, the internet or Braying Unfiltered?
The fact is that the series is above average for the TV Detective genre. And it towers several storeys above the dreck genre known as 'Reality' TV, which so enthralls the unfiltered set. Let's face it, the twain shall never meet. 'mkay?
