I like the series that came before this - Power Rangers In Space - but the second half of that series did get a bit too much like Star Wars and this was a concern at the time. Nobody can do Star Wars again! Then came Lost Galaxy.

This was "jump-the-shark" time for me. I remember seeing this in the year 2000 and being really bothered by it. Another poster compared this to Star Trek, that poster better not be talking about the 1960s Trek as that would give old William Shatner a heart attack.

I never liked the new cast or the new setting! After this, it was a few years before I would give ANY Power Rangers series a go again. I just decided the series was dead in the water. However, I was wrong, there is Ranger life after Lost Galaxy, as I have discovered in recent years.
