Worth it. Fireworks went off when they first held hands!

I'll preface this by saying my wife watches all the TV in our household. I'm in the background…listening and commenting from afar. This show made me emerge from the background to the foreground! If you haven't watched it, please do…and stick around till at least the 10th episode before you make up your mind. I kept thinking about Kashaf Murtaza for days after the show ended. My wife was probably thinking the same about Zarun. What I found remarkable is how intensely attracted I was to this humble, simple girl who most wouldn't call glamorous. She somehow embodied an image of a perfect companion - a soulmate so to speak.

The show was a little exaggerated at times, and also dragged on at times. The customary diary updates in every episode (my wife and I referred to them as 'lessons learned sessions') used such advanced Urdu I felt like I was writing an exam. But all this also added to the charm. There were no stark contrasts (good vs bad) and every character had a viewpoint that was valid.

A must see overall especially if you understand eastern society and are able to comprehend the language. If you have already watched it and are here looking for validation – 'Congratulations, I feel the same way' is what I'll say.

score 8/10
