With a svelte Dawn French as a lead member of the cast, I thought there would be as much comedy as drama in this culinary series. While it is good enough as a drama, I didn't find a laugh anywhere in the first season. Now I'm starting the second season in search of humor. Is a German scripting this show? Maybe they need to bring in Lenny Henry. Yes Chef!
