Andy Murray v Wimbledon - Will He / Won't he?

Cairds on the table...

Am a Scotsman! data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

So any Scotsman / Scotswoman / Scot's team that is in a competition I support them.

However I am also a big fan of the home nations against any "Jolly Foreigners" data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I support them all in World Cups, Championships and things like the Olympics... For those who are Scottish look away now... I even support England.

So with one of the big four - Nadal - out in the first day... How do you rate his chances...?

Also are you a fan of Scotland and indeed Britain's brightest tennis talent?

"v Wimbledon"?

That is ripe for a gag about the Scottish always finding a reason for a fight data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Murray on grass I can't see anyone beating him.   Fed is past his best and with Nadal out its his year.   I think Murray can beat djok on grass.
I'm not sure djok and Murray have met at Wimbledon before apart from the Olympics mind.

It would be nice for British tennis but, other than that, I don't really care. Federer is probably too old now and nowhere near the force he was to stop him but Djokovic is another matter entirely.

Both players are ill suited to grass but if I had to make a decision then I would go for Djokovic all day long against Murray. Murray for all his tireless effort simply does not have the incredible energy and unbelievable mental strength of Djokovic and when things go wrong his head drops. Djokovic's doesn't as in evidence of his previous finals against Nadal.

If Murray was two sets up, I would still give Djokovic a chance.

If Djokovic was two up, Murray would have no chance. I can't explain it better than that.
