Not sure that's entirely true. Seems a bit vague on the web. He did donate his £73k Queens winnings though.

Yeah it's the queens club that people have mistaken as Wimbledon. Good old Internet.
Still a great gesture to give the queens club money though.

People who dismiss Murray as unlikeable due to his "drab and dour" personality need to bear in mind where he comes from. In central Scotland, Murray is considered to be a dangerously flamboyant and over the top character. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Well done to him, a well deserved victory made all the sweeter by his tenacity in getting to this stage.
Appalling to see that twit Salmond trying to politicise the event yesterday.

The little fat man has to do something to draw attention otherwise he'll be lost in the crowd. I thought Salmond was a clever bloke and quite astute - but now changed my mind.
Now he's got the Wimbledon title, I hope Murray can now relax a little and take the elite power play and stress in his stride like all the top players do.

I think he has already proved that in winning the US Open,Olympic Gold Medal and Wimbledon. The man is right up there with the best now.

I just want to see Murray dominate everything now. Like the greats Novac, Nadal, Federer, Sampras, etc, etc.
