Edit - note for me, deposit of £100 paid 2nd August Sounds good, I'm happy to go along with whatever is agreed by the majority. £55 is a bit rich for my blood tbh. Sandburn Hall, £25 bacon roll and pie will do me just fine data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Of course, this is all dependent on you playing off your actual handicap, 26 points on the front nine.....data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Wow! Did he wear a mask? What handicap was that off .....? Yeah, I was thinking the same about the Rockliffe price, but Sandburn is well worth the £25
Played off 19 (18.7 based on handicap tracker) but had one of those days where everything just really clicked and I felt like I could hardly put a foot wrong. It was the 3 birdies that made the score and one of them was a chip-in from off the back of the green - I just got more luck with the greens than everyone else did
It was a little bit embarrassing in some ways as those sorts of rounds are few and far between especially considering the state of the greens, so it is unlikely to be repeated at the next day..... Nah , not at all, fair play to you , now tell us again how far you can hit that five wood data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Got some info from Darlington GC today, they can do a similar package to Sandburn Hall, but a 2 course meal and it costs £32
Played a round this morning to break in a new pair of shoes, shot 86 and scored 39 points off my new handicap of 17 and the tracker has adjusted it down to 16.6 from 17.2 so keeping up the good scoring data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Well I still haven't heard anything back from Romanby golf club so beginning to think about writing them off if they aren't interested in replying to an enquiry
After playing there recently, I would happily recommend Sandburn Hall so if people are happy with that I will drop them a line and see about firming a date
Assuming we are looking at the Fridays in October, that means the 4th, 11th, 18th or 25th - does anybody have any particular preference, or if I said the 11th, are people happy with that?
If so, I will drop Sandburn a line after the weekend when I get back from the Belfry and see if we can get something booked Sandburn sounds good to me if it makes deciding easier. 18th is not a good date for me, so would prefer the other dates in October. 11th October is fine with me.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
