If the Board have any sense, they'll leave CHief & Johnno in charge. At least the players seem to have repspect for them, which is more than can be said for Mark Hammett.. Whatever happend, the performances against the Tigers and Treviso were inexcusable.
I wouldn't be surprised if they put 50 points on Edinburgh..... (ever the optimist, me data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 )

Can't be that indisciplined at that level and expect to win, simple as that.
Ireland executed their gameplan very well.....England didn't seem to have one (but that was down to Ireland's being done so well I suspect).

Disappointing game. England seemed to bottle it, just like they did at Cardiff two yeas ago. Ireland were like the curate's egg, good in parts. When Sexton went off they began to lose some shape. He is so important to Ireland and must surely be pushing for the best 10 in the world at the moment.
Going to be a cracker in Cardiff in round 4.

I must have watched a different game to you then. I thought it was a great game. Looked like two teams "going for it" to me.

It was disappointing more than exciting. Canny game for sure by the Irish, they did what was needed and did it very well. Never looked like losing against a side giving away too many penalties because they did not have an answer. Ireland did to England almost exactly what England did to Wales, smothered any attacking creativity.
Ireland lost some shape when Sexton went off and would have been punished by the likes of the All Blacks. England could not take any advantage. Good game but not the great game I was anticipating as a neutral.

No complaints ,Ireland were clearly the better side .They have simple game plan and they execute it almost to perfection.Bar Sexton and maybe O'Connell, there are no real stars but being so well organised and disciplined they are devilishly hard to beat and a ten match winning run is impressive. I am not going to sit here wishing Wales win at the Millennium because to me thats clutching at straws .England failed so they have to move on.Hopefully they will have learnt from the defeat. One thing though Lancs inherent conservatism drives me nuts Why didhe not bring Cips at 12 on with 15 minutes to go ?? Something tells me that he has little faith him and is just waiting for Farrell to com back from injury

What a fantastic second half of test rugby, best game of the championship so far. My heart was in my mouth for the last five minutes. Diolch yn fawr Mr. Barnes for that penalty, probably saved me a coronary.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Now THAT was a game of Rugby. The resilience of our defence in the second half, particularly for the 30 something phases of Irish pressure around the 50 minute mark, was outstanding.
