First two days it looked like a pretty even contest but this morning has really given us a big advantage, i'd be keen to build a fairly quick lead now as it looks like the rain may come on Day 5 and it would be a shame to end up with a draw out of this one.

Looks like the aussies best bowling hope is in trouble,Starc clearly has something wrong as he limps after each ball bowled

England need to wrap the game up today, tomorrow looks like it could be a wash out.

Good stuff from England. Hope we can be victorious at Lords and put the Aussies under real pressure.

Good stuff from the Aussies, took advantage of a flat wicket.
No surprise England lost early wickets, 1& 3/4 days in the field coupled with scoreboard pressure very good Aussie bowling too.

They did bowl well but England didn't help themselves with their poor shot selection and footwork.

Ruthless 2nd Innings bowling from the Aussies. Johnson was great to watch. Very worthy winners. Flashbacks for England to the last Ashes series.
Must come back strong in the 3rd test.

Both Smith and Johnson were simply outstanding - real game changers and match winners.
We just don't have anyone of Johnson's pace and intimidation, it was real old school stuff and a joy to watch from the safety of the sofa!
I think we need to drop Ballance and Bell. Ballance looks like a rabbit in the headlights and Bell's lost confidence. I'd move Joe Root up to 3 (look at the way the Aussies celebrate when they get his wicket, they've obviously identified him as a key man) and bring back Bairstow. Moeen Ali is batting too low down the order as well.
And stop producing slow wickets and fast outfields, it should be the other way round!
