The RFU will pick up the tab for that as they know itsabsolutely outrageous penalty completely at odds with the so called offence .They know Marler is no racist but he is English and that tells its own story.They also know that World Rugby have responded to the bleatings from the sanctimoniousWRFU.Would there have been a similar reaction had Lee called Marler a Saes boy? World Rugby's own guidelines show a minimum ban of 4 weeks - so, playing-wise, he got off lightly.

i have no problem with the ban ,I do with the fine as its not proportionate to the offence itself,It could also set a precedent where one rugby union chooses to cite a player from another fora supposed racist comment .Saes could be considered a racist taunt.

I wont defend Marler in that instance but the Farrell one was something or nothing
