OK, so it looks like 3 and 9 are the front runners. Decisions decisions data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

IIRC the Olympus ambasador is also the BTCC official photographer?
You're on a knife edge with a motorsports shot.If they like your work then you're perhaps in with a better chance than with a different sport - they might worry you'll be a drag on the day.
However any technical imperfections they might be more sensitive to on their own subject?
Me, I like 5, 3 and 7 in that order data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Good luck!

All good shots individually - but you may want to think if there is going to be any particular preference from the judges.
As it's for a BTCC event, will a shot of a similar type car (IE 1,2 or 5) be an advantage of disadvantage?
If you think the subject of the shot will be a factor, then for me 2 is the pick of those 3, as in the other 2 the red barriers both pull the eye away from the car, but in 2 they give a line for the eye to follow through the image which includes the car.
If not, then 9 is the best in terms of showing excellent panning but with a subject that may make it different from what might otherwise be a lot of car shots.

The final shot of the cyclist OR the sepia toned classic racing car.
All these different views might not help you choose...!

And therein lies my issue. Whilst they say best sports or action shot would they prefer motorsports, or is it as broad as they suggest?
@AMc what do you mean by a drag on the day?
At the end of the day it's just a competition for a day out, I don't think they're looking for their next ambassador data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Well if they are supposed to be doing their day job as well as flying the flag for Olympus they might have a preference for someone with a clue about shooting motorsport.I'm sure that shooting high diving or show jumping have skills in common but as you're already very proficient at panning for MS that might be seen as desireable?
The problem is second guessing I would imagine the prize will attact more motorsports fans than any other type of photographer, particularly if you're going to get pit lane and trackside access.
So standing out might involve offering something outside that arena.
I don't think there is a bad shot in your selection.I suspect that the cyclist shows the skills best while being a little different.I imagine that shooting the F1 cars must have required the most skill.
If you're really undecided you could post a poll and invite votes, at least then we'd have to pick one data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
