Apple Watch ss link bracelet scratching
As I mentioned on another thread I was sitting in my nice sunny garden and in the sun rays I have found a tiny scratch on the buckle (don't remember knocking it anywhere btw). After looking again I can see more on the buckle. They are only visible in certain light so isn't a huge problem but for the money spent after day 2 it can't be a good sign.
I'm hoping they will polish out and if so won't be such a problem.
How are other folks finding theirs?

Out of interest what method would you use for polishing out and will you attempt to? I just need to find a decent metal polish. I read this a while ago although this was more relating to the stainless on the actual watch body and not bracelet.

I'm hoping this will work although not very happy about spending more money after £850!! Cape Cod cloths. Don't use a polish on it's own - these cloths are impregnated with the polish. A few wipes over and away the scratches go. Use them on my Planet Ocean once a year and it comes up utterly brand new.
Cape Cod Polishing cloth Foil Pouch pack of 6 | eBay Perfect, thanks. I will order a pack tonight and will report back if it does or doesn't work. Fingers crossed. Those scuffs do look nasty but to be fair calling it scratch gate is a bit much. Stainless steel scuffs and scratches easily and this a known fact and not just something related to the apple watch - they use the same type of stainless steel that most other watch makers use. It's just one of those things that you have to live with if you are going to have a stainless steel watch and polishing them out shouldn't be too difficult. Minor problem, yes, as I mentioned this isn't a huge problem (yet). I am prepared to live with it if the scratches polish out. I still have 12 days to go so hopefully it will not get worse.
Your right though calling it gate was probably a bit hasty so I have tweaked the title. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Big question is if the SS Black does the same... Ive been reading up on this and the space black has a DLC (Diamond-like carbon) coating and if it has been done to a high standard then this will (should) be more durable than the standard ss. What to do, what to do.........data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Hmmm. I have both on order. Prefer the regular SS though.
Do you have a black on order too?
