I think the watch works out what you'd burn just breathing for the day, so if you put in what sort of person you are and what activity levels you have day to day, that comes off the total for the day. That was my understanding anyway, strange there's a discrepancy though.
This you still burn calories doing nothing.
it will use your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) probably.
Anyone noticed that this watch ticks??
