Sky employ lots of DRM to block using their app on anything other than the phone/tablet display.

Most Android sticks I would doubt work as they allow root access and all sorts of other things the Sky app would likely block though I confess to have never tried it as I dont have Sky.

There is one Android TV device which might work and I stress might, the Archos TV Connect, whats different about this one is there is no root support and it supports all of Google's DRM services so it might work with the Sky Go app.

Edit: Scratch the above, just logged into Google Play to see if the app is compatible and surprisingly it says no it isnt but even stranger Sky Go is listed as compatible with the Pivos XIOS one of the more hacker friendly boxes. Now installing is one thing, whether it works is another.

The Kodi app doesn't work anymore. You can use DratSky instead Drat-erami Software.

I can confirm that mirroring your screen to Chromecast causes the Sky go app to refuse to play any content.
