Yet another "What android tablet" thread
Hi folksIm not new to tablets, but know it has to be android for me.
My current tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, it was the best available at the time but I got a hairline crack in it and its not cost effective to repair.
Im probably going to upgrade for Christmas and wondered whats currently regarded as the best option. Im fairly flexible, probably no smaller than 10" but might go bigger.
Im struggling to find anything better spec, perhaps there is something due out in future?
Any suggestions at all?
Thanks I have a s2 too and have contemplated upgrading to something better... The only thing I could find was the new Asus Zenpad 3 8.0. The only issue is they don't seem to be selling it anywhere despite it being announced back in August! Thanks ill take a look
I'm leaning towards keeping this for now until something really blows me away. The crack can barely be seen when the screen is in use and looks more like a hair. My only other issue with this tablet is the max volume isn't quite enough for my liking. Bumping an old thread, I'm leaning towards a Pixel C possibly unless there is anything else exciting about?
Ideally something that can have a screen repaired if required, not an option on my Tab S2 unfortunately. I think the next samsung tablet s3 will be out soon , well maybe a couple of months are you selling this tablet on Gumtree in the NW? if so go down to PC world in Stockport they had a pixel c for sale in there 250 quid.
Personally I want to go for the new Lenovo Yoga tab pro, with my family and the camping trips i think this would best suit us.Lenovo have ramped up the internal specs.
The Nexus C or the X1 cpu that powers it is astonishing as i had the Nvidia Shield console and it is absolutely rapid. I've ordered mine directly from Google with the keyboard For youtube use is it better an android or windows tablet ?
Which one offers 1080 res option ? Depends if you want to use the browser or not. The windows tablets will be full windows OS in tablet form and therefore can use youtube webiste to stream at 1080. While the android tablet, you'll have the app which should give you the 1080p option to stream.
It depends on what other uses you'll have for the tablet though... Thanks....then hope Amoled Windows from Samsung to enjoy the full youtube website....
