The yoga 3 plus has a glorious screen...and hats my final word on the subject...
I have to say given that I use it mainly for watching movies and TV shows I am leaning that way and can't quite stretch to a pixel c
Well Google have the Pixel C for sale for £299 so I have just bought one it's the 64 GB model. It will replace my Nexus 10 which is playing up
For £ 299 it's the same price as the yoga 3 plus or 4 pro as I wanted a good screen
I'm in the market for 2 tablets for the kids (age 10 and 11)
They use them constantly, so I want something decent that will last (originally had Momos - didn't last, then Hudls - better but died - they now use my old iPad2 which is still going)
Long term battery life is important.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8" looks decent.
Anything else I should consider around the same price (or less)?

Well I am still happy with the Lenovo yoga tablet plus 3 with the 2k screen. .. there may be faster, there may be better screens,, but its hard to see how much better than 2k on a 10 inch tablet will get you. Super endurance, sound through phones very good..
but it suits me well enough.and at 300 euro , I reckon a bargain.. im sure the other brandsare equally satisfying...
Hi there, I've been meaning to replace the wifes Nexus 10 for a long time and finally I've got around to it. Was going to get the Pixel C but now that's been discontinued by Google the price is through the roof. I've been doing some homework and this thread has certainly help influence my choice.
So coming tomorrow (free delivery) is the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus 10.1" NA1. Got it for £249. Did a price match with AO.com against Argos which amazingly are £40 cheaper than anyone else. Free delivery too.
It does look like a very good bit of kit for the price 3GB RAM and 8 Core CPU. She's only going to use it for web surfing, you tube, email and candy crush so looking forward to messing about with this tablet tomorrow.
Personal update:
Got one of our HUDL 2s working again (new charging port and battery). Will try and fix the other now, before worrying about the next tablet.
Looks like a good result all round..trigaaar happy , drinkturps soon to be happy.

Oh and I forgot to mention when you power it up first it will go through a start up sequence and when it has your network address, it will download a new operating system .. the latest android Nougat 7.1.1
