I'm honestly tempted to either to go with one of these or save a few bucks and try pick up a reduced S4. See what the 7th brings..

My worry would be the WiFi, it has the same metal back and antenna lines of the S5e which struggled for connection (from my experience). I would think there will be some sweet deals on S4 tabs coming up to be fair. Bar processor and weight, slightly slimmer bezels, I can't see the point in me upgrading.

I’d probably want the 8GB/256GB/4G model and I suspect that may be close to pushing £1000 with the keyboard as well, I’d probably sooner pickup a ChromeOS convertible like the HP X2 for half the price that could run Android Apps.....

New processor, slightly thinner bezels compared to the S4 but same overall resolution, and a added dual lens. Not bad. It remains to be seen if the magnetic S Pen is practical - how does it work with a case? Cut outs?

Oddly, the battery is smaller than the S4 (7040 v 7300) but both have fast charging.

No 3.5mm headphone socket too. A tablet is where i wouldn't miss a headphone socket, but confirmation that Samsung will push ahead with removing the 3.5mm socket.

While the S Pen gets a new fancy Bluetooth tricks (similar to the Note 9) both the S4 and S6 have '4096 points of pressure sensitivity' - Not much of a upgrade. (Although the S Pen will still be a great bit of kit).

I use the pen all the time with my S4 and occasional with my Note 9. Never felt the need to use the button on the Note 9 S Pen. But Samsung really do need to rethink the pen design and sort out a storage silo for it on their tablets.

Regarding the S6 pen. Presumably it needs charging like the one with the Note 9. I wonder if the trench in the back is the only place that it will charge from? Might limit accessory options.

From what I've seen on a few cases, it has a sort of flap design, where you place the pen on the back of the tablet and then close a 1/4 of the case over the pen. Looks a little cumbersome to me...

It looks to me like it only charges on that magnetic strip on the back. I really don't know who came up with that to be honest data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 (scratches head)
