/proxy.php?image=http://www.avforums.com/pictureperfect/images/logos/pictureperfect_130.png&hash=b2ec2a9be38753790386b72cdbf5d8b8 The following menu examples are from a Sharp LCD TV, other Sharp TVs may have fewer settings.Note: If your TV has been previously calibrated by a professional, then making adjustments to your TV's picture will undo that work.
Disclaimer: We have suggested the settings below as a starting point from which you can proceed to Step 3 of our guide to further refine your TV's picture. We make no guarantee that making the above adjustments here will improve your TV's picture, but broadly speaking, it *should* do.
Basic Settings Page 1.
This is the first page of settings in the Picture Menu.
Select the Movie AV Mode if available and ensure that OPC is turned Off.
However, do not change any of the other settings on this page without the appropriate tools, such as test patterns. We will show you how to do this in Step 3 of the PicturePerfect campaign.

And that's it for Step 2 on 2012 Sharp LCD TVs. Proceed to Step 3 for information on how to adjust the final controls. no colour temp adjustment steve. The Colour Temperature setting should be Low, I'll add that now Scott. Just out of interest Steve what options does it offer . High, Mid-High, Middle, Mid-Low and Low but Low is the only one close to D65. ok thanks same option as my 42xd1ea lcd(about 5 years old), but on that i find middle closest to d65. How are you measuring the colour temperature? originaly witha spyder 4 tv hd and then chromapure and the spyder 4 hd meter(which was refrenced against a klien k10) and an offset made.
to be honest the reviews of this tv when it come out where great and stated use low to, but after calibrating it and seeing the results and how far out it is and needed adjusting by eye
