Really like the idea and look of den but still can’t bring myself to order until some reviews are out. I’m going to hang on then compare these to lightwave

jouster Publish time 1-12-2019 21:28:06

Totally agree. That’s the way with so much stuff nowadays though.   All of the crowdfunded videos make everything look fanatic and they can seem a little lacking when they finally come to market

No reviews out there yet?

jouster Publish time 1-12-2019 21:28:06

Not officially launched yet.Mid April I think.

what is the difference between this Den kit and Energenie?

I have the Energenie stuff and it is good but not without its issues.

Den

Looks like they still looking for funds?

Great products imo, just too expensive for full home intrigration atm. Hopefully this will take off and prices reduce to initial promised levels.

Ideally 2nd gen would work with out the need of a hub too

Well den have promised a launch at the end of September. There has already been a few missed dates. Anyone looking to buy?

Hmmmmm, depends how good the new Hue switches are. They may proove more useful for me.Pricing is a big deciding factor too.

So I saw these guys advertising on Instagram last week and signed up to their mailing list. Received an email saying they were on The Gadget Show last night so I tuned in.

This looks ideal, regular looking switches which work normally and via automation.

As with any new tech company I am a little wary of their longevity and reviews. Do they have enough cash to stick around long term or would I end up with a load of expensive dumb switches?

While I don't necessary want to be negative your post is almost exactly the same as the opening post back in March. At this point the delays have been many so it makes you wonder when they will eventually actually arrive.
